Back to BU :(

Arghhh.. holidays is coming to an end. I don't want to go back to BU. I will miss home so much.
Home is like heaven. I want good and tasty food everyday. I will be so desperate to eat my mother's cooking at BU as the outside food is so lousy. I am sick and tired of eating outside food. I wish i could extend my holidays and stay back here in Ipoh. Hmm but still all that are just like an impossible dream. I still need to go back so here i come BU and bye Ipoh..sob.. sob.. sob..

My cousin bro's big day...

I went to Singapore for my cousin brother's wedding last week. Although they got married quite late as both the bride and the bridegroom are approaching the age of 40 but they still make a perfect match and a super romantic couple :)

I really enjoyed myself at their weeding ceremony . I dance all day long which made me so exhausted at the end of the day. I think by now they might be on their honeymoon tour to Bali;
so, i hope they have a good time together and i would like to wish the newly weds best of luck and have a happy and joyful life.

Trip to Kellie's Castle

On Friday i went back to Ipoh. Then, the next day i went to Kellie's Castle with my family which is an uncompleted huge mansion located in the town of Batu Gajah. The journey was a 25 minutes drive away from my house. I had a really good time visiting this mansion which has a great architecture. The castle consists of rooms specially designed for Kellie's son and daughter, for the guests and there was a large living room. One of the many amazing things about Kellie's Castle that i remember is that there was an elevator (it supposed to be the first in Malaya) which connects right up to the top floor;however,it was not completed.

On the second floor, Smith planned to build an indoor tennis court . On the highest floor, there is a rooftop courtyard for parties. This castle was to be the hub for entertaining wealthy colonial planters who had settled in Malaya. His house was so unique. I wish i could own a beautiful mansion like the castle as well...hehehe. There were secret tunnels too, one of which leads to the Hindu temple through the Kinta River. Unfortunately, this tunnels had now been sealed for safety reason and i did not get a chance to go through the tunnels. I should have went a few years earlier as the authorities still allowed visitors to go through the tunnels before this .Hmm...to bad. Besides, the panaromic view of the surroundings can be seen from the top of the mansion. The castle is being surrounded by the Kinta River. The latest discovery of this place is the tree that grows to resemble "a bear hugging a tree" at the compound of the castle which can be seen clearly .

I would like to recommend all my friends to visit this elegant and classic looking castle. The entry ticket just cost about RM4 . It is really worth it as you can get to see the great design of the building. I had enjoyed my weekend very much as this was the place i always wanted to go but never had a chance to do so . At last i went there yesterday. It was like a dream come true as i really enjoy going to places i have not been to before especially beautiful places like this.

Something new to me...

Well, I am new to this and I hereby officially start my blog with my first post ever.
Hmm...honestly I don't like blogging and I did not open this account on my own will. This is part of my English (EALD) course which requires each and everyone of us to have their own blog. As my lecturer, Ms Chan said by doing this I can eventually improve my writing skill; so, i really hope that this can really change my writing to be better because my writing skill is very poor. Oh god I really have no idea what should I post every week. However, there is something I like about this English course which is there will not be any test for this subject unlike all other subjects. Its a really good news. Anyways, I wish i will do well in all my subjects.
